Who we Are

Meet the Founders of Shefalev
Adam Aranov, M.Ed., LNHA, is a seasoned and compassionate licensed nursing home administrator with close to a decade of leadership in long-term care. Holding a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Bellevue University, and a license in Nursing Home Administration. Adam is known for his hands-on approach and deep respect for both residents and staff. Throughout his career, he has cultivated environments where elders feel seen, heard, and truly valued.
Livya Aranov RN-C, BSN, is a registered nurse with over eight years of experience in healthcare, spanning inpatient hospital care, home health, and community outreach. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Brockport and a strong foundation in patient-centered care, Livya has seen firsthand the emotional and cognitive benefits that come from meaningful engagement—across all stages of life. Her passion lies in using innovative tools to enhance quality of life and connection, especially for underserved or overlooked populations.
Together, we founded Shefalev with a simple but powerful belief: aging should never mean the end of adventure, joy, or discovery. We’ve witnessed how isolation and disengagement can affect seniors—and we’re passionate about using virtual reality to open new worlds, spark cherished memories, and support emotional and cognitive well-being.
Our mission is rooted in love for the elder community and a commitment to delivering care that is innovative, human-centered, and deeply meaningful. "ShefaLev" means abundant heart- a name that reflects our mission to bring compassion, connection and healing into elder care through the power of immersive Virtual Reality technology.
